NINE new herd members šŸ˜³šŸ˜³šŸ˜³

 Yeah, I kinda bought more horses even though I said I wouldnā€™tā€¦  But youā€™ll see why when you see who they are and the price I bought them for! It was a spectacular deal! I know I say that every time, but this is by far the best deal Iā€™ve ever seen!!!! (I say that all the time too, donā€™t I?) But let me just cut to the chase, I got seven Traditional Breyer horses(all of which were SRā€™s LEā€™s or Collectors Choice!) for $100 shipping included !!!! See what Iā€™m talking about here?!?! To be exact, here they are:

(Left to right) Salpicado, 2005 Limited Edition 7,500 made; Freedom, the legend of the bloody shoulder Arabian, Commemorative Edition, 10,000 made; Gathering Storm, Collectors Choice ; Cloud Nine, Collectors Choice; Gooitzen fan Teakesyl, Breyerfest 2014 celebration horse; Turnbridge Wells Breyerfest 2012 Special Run, 1,500 made; and Buckaroo, Breyerfest 2013 Special Run, 1,000 made.  And the white ones are painting projects. 

This guy I found at Home Sense. I think heā€™s supposed to be a bookend but he is really light. Hmmm



And this foal was a gift from a friend. Heā€™s kinda creepy, hopefully a bit of paint will do him good.

Anyway, back to the Breyers. Iā€™m selling 5 of them and keeping 2. I wish I could keep more but I can get really good money for most of them and use it to get ones that I like more. Here are links for the ones that Iā€™m selling:

Iā€™m keeping the Arabian because Iā€™ve always wanted a bloody shoulder Arabian 

And he is bigger than I expected! Heā€™s the biggest of all my Arabians! Well, actually, Huckleberry would probably be taller if he was standing; not trotting.

The one thing I donā€™t like about him is his eyes. I donā€™t mean to be rude to whoever painted him, butā€¦ theyā€™re really bad. Maybe he was painted by someone who was new? I might end up painting over them.

Iā€™m also keeping this guy! Something about roans and flea bitten grays on Breyers just catch my eye.
And this mold has such a sweet expression!!!
And I canā€™t really tell if heā€™s a blue roan or a red roan! At first glance, he looks blue, but if you look closely you can see that looks to be a bay underneath?!? 
 
Maybe heā€™ll be a purple roanšŸ˜‚šŸ¤£


Anyway, those are the new herd members! I am VERY happy with them! Hopefully the ones for sale find new homes fast so I donā€™t get to attached lol!!!

 Iā€™ve been working on quite a few customs over the past couple months. Iā€™ve done lots of new things, my first rabicano and my first traditional horse. The traditional is definitely my best custom to date!  I did a fleabitten grey because I am good at thosešŸ˜‚ I am very happy with how he turned out! I had planned from the beginning to sell him when he was done, but I was definitely tempted to keep him! NaMoPaiMo

 Well, I meant to get this posted a week ago, but better late than never! For those of you who donā€™t know, NaMoPaiMo stands for National Model Painting Month. It was founded by Jennifer Buxton in 2017. You have one month (February) to paint and complete a model horse. You can find more information on  this  page   of  Jennifer Buxtonā€™s blog . Anyway, long story short, I signed up for this year(my first year!)  So introducing my NaMoPaiMo modelā€¦ Iā€™ve started painting her twice and stripped her twice. This time Iā€™m determined to get it right! I mean third times a charm right? If all goes according to plan, she will be a dappled grey with a stripe and possibly a few socks by February 29! I also have a few side projectsā€¦ This little girl will be a chestnut like her mom,  April Showers . Everything Under The Sun

 Sorry for not posting for so long! Iā€™ve been so busy! I have 4 commissions to finish, 10 halters to make, 3 mini whinny boxes, two sets of boots, one show halter, a leather halter, a shipping halter, just to name a few! And thatā€™s not even counting the orders from my Etsy store šŸ˜‚  Soā€¦ yeah, I have lots of model horse stuff to do!  Here are the models Iā€™ve finished: This mini whinny family, the foal is so cute!!! And this dappled grey stablemate, who has since sold And I donā€™t think Iā€™ve posted this guy yet, heā€™s a mini whinny I painted a few months ago. Still for sale as of now!
