Small Projects

 Sorry for not posting in a while! I can’t believe it’s been a month! Breyer has been laying low for a while, so I don’t have anything important to tell about on that end. But I’ve been doing a lot of stuff!!! First, before I start on tack and painting, I want to introduce the newest herd member: 

Heath!!! He is my first club horse, and my first on the Othello mold. He is so gorgeous 💕💕
And he has such a sweet face 



The only factory flaws he came with is this wierd black mark that I can’t get rid of
And the usual ear rubs.



I am so happy that he’s part of my herd!


And now for my first project:


A new and improved stall guard! It is much more realistic than my old blue one, and I like this one much better.
Even though it took forever to glue the hooks onto the barn🙄


Then I made a newborn foal halter to fit the QH foal mold.

And next I went a little crazy…

I had the urge to make a mini whinny saddle… and well, as you can see, this happened.



Maybe I have a future in making mini tack 😅

    WOW! I love all of these, but especially the saddle! ...is there any chance that we'll be seeing a traditional one? 😄

      For the next little bit, I’m going to focus on western(I got one of RioRondo’s saddle kits and an extra saddle tree) but I definitely plan on making an English saddle soon too!!! 🙃

Recent Customs

 I’ve been working on quite a few customs over the past couple months. I’ve done lots of new things, my first rabicano and my first traditional horse. The traditional is definitely my best custom to date!  I did a fleabitten grey because I am good at those😂 I am very happy with how he turned out! I had planned from the beginning to sell him when he was done, but I was definitely tempted to keep him! I tried a new technique to make them more realistic.  And the eyes… well, I think I finally get those down pat!!! I sold him as planned and he went to a home where he is going to be shown☺️. NaMoPaiMo

 Well, I meant to get this posted a week ago, but better late than never! For those of you who don’t know, NaMoPaiMo stands for National Model Painting Month. It was founded by Jennifer Buxton in 2017. You have one month (February) to paint and complete a model horse. You can find more information on  this  page   of  Jennifer Buxton’s blog . Anyway, long story short, I signed up for this year(my first year!)  So introducing my NaMoPaiMo model… I’ve started painting her twice and stripped her twice. This time I’m determined to get it right! I mean third times a charm right? If all goes according to plan, she will be a dappled grey with a stripe and possibly a few socks by February 29! I also have a few side projects… This little girl will be a chestnut like her mom,  April Showers . Everything Under The Sun

 Sorry for not posting for so long! I’ve been so busy! I have 4 commissions to finish, 10 halters to make, 3 mini whinny boxes, two sets of boots, one show halter, a leather halter, a shipping halter, just to name a few! And that’s not even counting the orders from my Etsy store 😂  So… yeah, I have lots of model horse stuff to do!  Here are the models I’ve finished: This mini whinny family, the foal is so cute!!! And this dappled grey stablemate, who has since sold And I don’t think I’ve posted this guy yet, he’s a mini whinny I painted a few months ago. Still for sale as of now! So let me know if you want him!  And here is a few of my projects…. I also started making mini whinny boxes!!! They are super fun (but also time-consuming) to make!  Then I made this Arabian halter for fun… it needs work, but is much better than the first one I made!
