Well, I’ve been neglecting my writing lately, and now I have a catch-up post to write!  Lots of reveals, starting with this adorable SR mare & foal set.  They are my favorite SRs so far! Then we have another LE, the Classic one, on the Arabian Malik mold! Breyer had to pick the one Classic mold I love (besides the new Arab mare & foal) and congaπŸ˜‚πŸ˜– Then another SR, a Quagga! I saw the molds silhouette and thought “a Prezwalskis horse! FINALLY!” Then… I honestly don’t even like himπŸ˜… Darn it Breyer, we need a Prezwalskis horse!!! Then the crystal LE for this year is on the fighting stallion! Cool Now we’re on to the small guys! This gorgeous guy is the online only stablemate! Must resist, must resist…  Then this years Best Of Breyerfest set: They are really cute! But luckily the Best of Breyerfest sets don’t really speak to me. Lots of Reveals!!!

Image
We have two new Limited Edition models revealed! The first is a beautiful grey on Cancion: Breaking Breed Standards Back in November, we introduced you to a horse whose story started off a bit rough and tumble , but, thanks to the devotion of a caring owner, an unlikely jumping prodigy was born.  We are thrilled to reveal to you the next model in our Limited Edition lineup –  Gascon the Great.     This special grey Paso Fino gelding is pushing his breed’s boundaries and showing everyone just how much he also excels in the jumper ring! In October of 2018, Gascon was rescued from a seizure case that involved 50 other horses. Untrusting, fearful, and neglected, he made his way to Horses Without Humans Rescue where he found Jennifer Cefalu.     After working with Gascon, Jennifer saw something truly special in him that set him apart from many other rescues she’d worked with. She found out he loved to canter and jump. After long, sometimes challenging, days of training Gascon, Jennifer fel

First, the logo for the surprise horse: Surprise! 7 Comments Actually, this isn’t a surprise at all!       You know we can’t reveal the mold or colorways for this year's BreyerFest Surprise Special Run model, but we can tell you that she  will be available to VIP, All-Access, and Online Traditional Access ticket holders.     Happy Monday from your BreyerFest Events Team! Stick around because we’re coming in hot this afternoon with another reveal! *Sigh* all the poor boy collectors!!! At least we got a pretty big hint! “ she will be… ” it’s a mare!!! Although, knowing Breyer, they could take a stallion or gelding mold and make it a mareπŸ˜…  but that does narrow it down a bit!  The second reveal is another SR.  Going Gaga! We revealed this year’s Surprise model logo earlier today , but this afternoon we wanted to brush with the dangerous and show fans a reveal of the next Special Run model that will be available at BreyerFest this summer. Done as

Christmas Haul Part 3– presents to myself

Image
This is the 3rd (and last) Christmas haul post. These are horses I bought myself πŸ˜….  I’m my defense, Tractor Supply had 40 percent off Breyer horses! That’s where I got this guy: I got two; one to keep, and one to sell. The second is still available if anyone is interested! (And if you message me on Etsy and mention the blog, I’ll give you a discount!). Here is the link:  https://horsesbysamantha.etsy.com/listing/1646036983 This guy is just so handsome! His shading is amazing too! I also got some boots at Tractor Supply, since they were on sale too, and I needed new ones! They’re so clean! For now anyway… I also got this guy:                      (Not from TSC though) I love this mold so much! He looks stunning as a bay! And I love how one ear is shorter than the other! It makes him cute ☺️  And last but not least, I got two more packages of the mini whinny barn surprise because I’m still missing the Appaloosa and of course the chase piece. Here are the ones in the first package: I h

Another SR In The House!

Breyer announced their third SR!  Feeling Like a 10 This next handsome reveal is out here, looking like revenge. This model walks the walk and talks the talk, and we know you won’t be able to resist adding him to your collection. All we have to say about that is  Sorry, Not Sorry.       Dressed up in a spectacular glossy leopard appaloosa coat and done on Brigitte Eberl’s poised Salinero (mold #704), this Special Run model is an absolute 10 that will make a great addition to your herd.  Available to in-person VIP and All-Access ticket holders only.   I really like this handsome fellow, but luckily I don’t need him πŸ˜….  He is really unique though!!! And those striped hooves😍

Another Limited Edition Reveal!!!

Image
We have another Limited Edition reveal! Here is what the Breyerfest Blog says: We are working our way through January and while we still have a ton of reveals left to show fans,  we wanted to remind you about our first Tale of Triumph from back in November . This equine’s tale of loving to jump, even when told it wasn’t their place, touched the hearts of fans! We are so thrilled to finally introduce you to  Alan A Day's Work , one of this year’s Limited Edition portrait models!     Alan A Day’s Work, a 2008, 13.3 hand john, strives to prove that yes, you can horse show on a mule! In their early years together, owner Whitney Barnard and Alan dabbled in many different disciplines, but it quickly became clear that Alan loved to jump. Whitney wanted to show the world how talented Alan was and give him a chance to compete. But as a mule in a horse’s world, it was hard to find acceptance until finally a local horse show association welcomed them and let Alan shine.     However, mules we

The Smallest Halter

Image
A week ago, after I had  posted the first Christmas haul post , one of my readers said I should make halters for the Mini Whinnies: One thing you should know about me—I can never resist a challenge πŸ˜‰  You probably know what’s coming next… yes, after three days (and multiple headaches) later, the halter is made! I made it the same as I would a traditional halter, it even has a working latch so it can come on and off! It was not easy but I’m glad I did it. Sometimes all it takes is a push outside your comfort zone. Thanks for giving me that push Island!
